The Survey of Energy Resources is a unique comprehensive compilation of global energy resources. This update to the 2007 WEC study provides updated tables, figures or country notes for 15 key energy resources. The 21st edition of the World Energy Council's Survey of Energy Resources was published in 2007 and the 22nd edition is scheduled for publication in 2010. With rapid changes taking place in the energy markets and the role of energy rising equally rapidly in public affairs, an interim update 2009 has been published giving the status of the most important energy resources.

Energy and Climate Change is outcome of collective experience and resources of energy professionals worldwide. It has looked in detail at the impact of existing climate change measures and how effective they have been in promoting sustainable development, using the criteria of the three “A’s” – accessibility (to affordable energy); acceptability (of the energy sources used, particularly in environmental terms); and availability (how secure and reliable are those sources?).
